Engineer, Metallic Materials & Processes

Otto Aerospace is seeking an Engineer, Metallic Materials and Processes to join their team. The ideal candidate has an interest in materials and processes and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will provide guidance on matters relating to metallic materials and process to the Design and Manufacturing teams and author materials and process specifications, test plans and reports.

Requirements

• B.S. in Material Science, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
• 3-5+ years of aircraft metallic M&P experience (or 2+ with M.S.)
• Knowledge of industry standard materials and processes for metallic (required) and non-metallic (a plus) materials.
• Knowledge of metallic material fabrication techniques, such as machining, welding and sheetmetal forming
