CNS - Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Medical Surgical

Under limited direction, the Clinical Specialist is a hospital based, service specific position, performing as the clinical expert in evidence-based practice within specific patient population, designing, implementing and evaluating patient specific and population-based programs of care, and providing leadership in advancing the practice of nursing.

Requirements

• Masters of Nursing from an approved school of nursing
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in the area of specialization or education
• Current License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Clinical Nurse Specialist
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
