Analytics engineer

Outsight's software solutions track the motion of people and vehicles using 3D LiDAR data. The company is looking for an Analytics Engineer to support the development of its solutions from Paris, San Francisco, Sophia-Antipolis, and Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work on designing, developing, and releasing interconnected modules of Outsight Shift solution, including the Kubernetes platform, Analytics module, UI/UX, and Data / BI module.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python or equivalent, with experience in real-time data processing.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in real-time data processing and algorithmic data transformation.
• Knowledge of streaming patterns: time-windowed aggregation, event correlation, deduplication, out-of-order handling, and latency/performance trade-offs.
• Experience designing domain-specific KPIs from data, ideally in operational or industrial settings.
• Familiarity with working in production-grade environments: containerized deployments, CI/CD, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus).
