Job description
The manufacturing engineer ensures the end product meets customer needs by initiating and implementing technical improvements, preventing and resolving technical problems, and assessing the capabilities of the processes. This role provides technical leadership in the improvement of manufacturing processes, manufacturing equipment efficiencies, and product quality.
The manufacturing engineer will provide a safe and secure work environment, develop and implement procedures and systems to ensure products meet customer expectations, and support trials for new and existing products. They will also analyze product and process data to optimize performance and identify process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to engage and care for others. They will also have experience in root cause analysis, driving product and process improvement, and utilizing continuous improvement tools and data systems.
