Material Handler, 2nd Shift

Role Overview

Material Handler (Forklift Operator) at Owens Corning Stokesdale plant. Safely provide materials to machine centers to maximize efficient plant operations.

What You Will Do

Operate forklift, follow safety regulations, keep work areas clean, and perform end-of-shift audits.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have high school diploma, effective communication skills, and ability to pass forklift certification. Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 Years Old
• Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to pass a written exam and driving test for forklift
• Able to work independently, while maintaining material availability to work centers
• Good hand eye coordination and mechanically adaptable to use forklift controls
