Process Automation Technician

Role Overview

The Process Automation Technician coordinates and executes maintenance automation and controls functions safely in the facility to ensure maximum plant equipment and services performance and minimize unscheduled interruption of plant operation. This position trains, coaches, and teaches others on electrical controls maintenance procedures and best practices. Strong skills in planning and organizing are required.

What You Will Do

The Process Automation Technician will ensure operation of machinery and electrical controls equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, program HMIs, PLCs, Servos, and other electrical controls systems, and diagnose electrical and controls problems.

Requirements

• Two-year associates degree in electrical technologies or equivalent
• 3 years relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and process control systems
• Strong skills in planning and organizing
