Production Engineer

Role Overview

As a Production Engineer at Oxy's Direct Air Capture facility in Notrees, TX, you will maintain the health and safety of employees, customers, and communities, and provide ongoing engineering assistance to operations.

What You Will Do

You will maintain production rates, track efficiencies, and make recommendations to maximize plant profit and efficiency. You will also assist with project reviews, provide technical assistance, and report production status.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will identify and coordinate process improvements, implement process changes, and provide engineering support to production areas. You will also represent production and engineering in matters of evaluation and selection of vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering
• 2 years' experience in plant operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interactive skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Ability to read, write and speak in English
• Walking, bending, stooping is required
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator and be able to respond to visual and audible alarms
