Java Developer

Role Overview

As a Java Developer at Fiserv, you will participate in an agile team, providing technical expertise and guidance for delivering best-in-class technical solutions. You will contribute to software process improvement practices, act as a technical subject matter expert, and analyze business and functional requirements.

What You Will Do

You will analyze, design, program, debug, test, and modify software enhancements and/or new products for Fiserv networks and processing platforms. You will identify and recommend changes in software applications and interfaces, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• 2 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing web and Java batch software applications
• Experience with Java, C, Angular, and Spring Boot
• Experience with REST APIs, Oracle Relational databases, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in the Financial services settlement and reporting industry
• Experience working with end-users to create technical requirements
• Experience supporting Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) financial settlement applications
• Experience working with Cloud platforms using OpenShift or Cloud Foundry
