Job Description
Paces is building the development engine for renewable infrastructure and power projects. We are looking for an exceptional Transmission Power Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team, reporting directly to the Head of Success and Solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in power system studies, transmission planning, or interconnection engineering at a consultant, developer, ISO/RTO, or utility.
- Deep familiarity with generator interconnection modeling in at least one major ISO/RTO (PJM, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, WECC).
- Proven ability to run and interpret power flow, stability, and upgrade cost studies; proficiency with tools like PSSE, TARA, PSLF, PSCAD.
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior engineers.
- Comfortable being customer-facing, presenting results directly to external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (Python, MATLAB, etc.) to improve workflows.
