The Telecom Systems Lead is responsible for ensuring all telecom and operational communication systems are designed, implemented, and transitioned into operations effectively. The position acts as a key liaison between project teams and operations, providing technical support, coordination, and validation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in supporting telecom and OT systems, preferably in industrial, energy, or Oil & Gas environments.
- Strong understanding of operational requirements in a field or plant environment (e.g., system reliability, ease of use, maintainability).
- Hands-on experience with VoIP, SIP, PBX, radio communication systems, and LTE networks
- Familiarity with SCADA, DCS, and plant communication systems
- Proficient in technical documentation and system lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Industry experience in Oil & Gas, utilities, or critical infrastructure is strongly preferred.
- Strong vendor coordination and stakeholder management capability
