Technician II - Structured Cabling

Paladin Technologies is seeking several Technicians with experience in structured cabling installation & servicing to assist on larger installations. The role requires the ability to complete installations to client satisfaction, adhere to quality and safety programs, and interact with customers and prospects.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience in structured cabling installation & servicing
• Experience pulling, terminating and testing cat5/6 and fiber optic cables
• Experience installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc)
• Experience installing other low voltage systems (CCTV, access control, AV, wireless, unified communication, nurse call, RTLS)
• Post-secondary education in electrical, telecommunications, electronics, or equivalent
• Flexibility to work in a variety of environments
• Comfortable working at heights and must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds
• Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract and no restrictions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
• Must be bondable and able to pass a background check
• Strong problem-solving skills
