Health & Safety Officer

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional who enjoys being visible on the manufacturing floor, engaging with employees at all levels, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to a Zero Harm culture.

Requirements

• Recognised Health & Safety qualification.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with employees and management at all levels of the organisation.
