SMT Operator

Role Overview

Paradigm is seeking an SMT Operator for a 6-month contract to hire position. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and running Surface Mount Machines according to documentation packs and ensuring quality control meets IPC-610 Class 2 standards.

What You Will Do

Perform kit audits, prep parts, operate Pick and Place equipment, screen printers, and verify feeder setup. Complete SMT paperwork, test and record ESD checks, and follow production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or computer component environments, excellent attention to detail, and good verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years established work experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend assembly and build instructions
• Ability to learn and work with LEAN working methods and processes
• Ability to identify all components and component part numbers
• Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
