Warehouse Associate

Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role in the success of our Client fulfillment needs. They are responsible for assisting with merchandising stock in an efficient and timely manner to meet the daily inventory replenishment demands.

What You Will Do

Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock. Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock. Scanning items into the warehouse management system. Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.

Requirements

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Time management skills
• Able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
• Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time
• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets
