Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator

Role Overview

Join our Parts Authority Team as a Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator. We are rapidly expanding and looking for candidates to join our family! As a Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator, you will use power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products and ensure the neat, orderly condition of the warehouse.

What You Will Do

Operate power industrial equipment to load and unload, move or stack materials or products; operate manual or electric carts to fill orders; receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves; check off merchandise as received; correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet; assist in pulling parts during busy times; work with stock manager to address any problems with orders.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience operating power industrial equipment
• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Understanding Map Locations
• Sorting by alpha or numeric
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills

• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
• Time management skills
• Able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
