Warehouse Associate - Returns

Role Overview

Join our Parts Authority Team as a Warehouse Associate - Returns. We are rapidly expanding and looking for candidates to join our family! As a Warehouse Associate - Returns, you will be responsible for the intake of returns from drivers and opening all boxes to ensure that returned items are correct and that the returned items are items sold by the company.

What You Will Do

Open all boxes to ensure that returned items are correct and that the returned items are items sold by the company, separate returns into “core”, “defect” and “new”, put account number stickers on cores and defects, redistribute new merchandise to other stores, enter each returned item into the computer system, and help inside returns team create negative purchase orders.

Requirements

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal

• Time management skills
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh upto 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
• 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
