Payments Canada is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to lead the execution of business analysis functions of High Value Payment Systems. The role involves analyzing business needs, proposing solutions, and leading small teams to support operational projects.
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in computer science or related studies.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience within a similar role.
- Sound experience in DevOps and agile environments.
- Experience in developing and fostering relationships, both internally and externally.
- Experience in managing external IT vendors.
- Experience in applying system management best practices.
- Sound experience in producing concise and detailed documentation.
- Experience in performing business analysis, collecting requirements, and developing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of technologies such as Confluence, Jira, MQ Series, SWIFT network for financial transitions, Redhat, RSA Security Appliances, Active Directory, and Oracle DBs.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Overtime and on-call support based on operational requirements will be required.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Status Clearance and can successfully complete enhanced background checks that may be carried out by Payments Canada.
