Supervisor Maintenance Surface

The Supervisor Surface Maintenance is responsible for the day to day repair activities, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on all mine equipment to insure the safe, economical and efficient operation of the machinery.

• Supervise maintenance and repair personnel
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely maintenance records
• Implement short-term and long-term maintenance planning, scheduling and forecasting
• Analyze failed components for failure reasons and then make changes to eliminate or lessen chances or repeat failures
• Evaluate the efforts of workforce and train them in area of weakness
• Keep abreast of latest maintenance methods and equipment through technical publications and vendor representatives
• Monitor maintenance employee work performance and operating conditions to ensure the prevention of accidents
