Job description
The Quality Specialist is a key member of the Custom Cylinders team, responsible for ensuring that all manufactured parts meet rigorous quality standards with minimal waste. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role collaborates closely with the Design and Production Engineer to maintain and improve product quality and operational efficiency.
Conduct inspections, audits, and tests on materials and finished products to verify adherence to internal and external quality standards. Analyze production data and processes to identify sources of waste, recommend corrective actions, and help implement solutions that maximize efficiency and minimize scrap or rework.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies, experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar), and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
