Maintenance Tech

Role Overview

This position repairs and rebuilds manufacturing machines and provides mechanical, electrical and technical support and repairs to all areas of the facility.

What You Will Do

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems related to the production equipment, fabricate needed components, and maintain accurate records of equipment repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 5 years related experience and/or training
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and Ladder logic
• Experience working with Hydraulics, motors and pumps
• Fabrications experience preferred
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or data
• Visual acuity for detailed work
