Procurement Planner

Pentel of America is seeking a Procurement Planner to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of components and finished goods from suppliers while maintaining inventory level objectives and improving visibility within the supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating potential new vendors, and developing purchasing and inventory optimization strategies.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• 2-3 years exp. in Purchasing and Planning
• Knowledge of international product merchandising, processes, and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office software
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, ERP systems, and problem-solving
