Manufacturing Purchasing Expeditor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Purchasing Expeditor in partnership with a client in Owego, NY. This role focuses on ensuring purchased materials are delivered on time to meet production and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Actively monitor purchase orders, engage with suppliers to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Work closely with purchasing, inventory, and production teams to maintain accurate order status and smooth operations.
• Follow up on overdue or high-priority orders with vendors
• Address issues related to shortages, incorrect shipments, or quality concerns
• Keep ERP/MRP systems up to date with current order information
• Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize essential materials
• Document supplier interactions and track performance metrics
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned
