Model Based Systems Engineer

Role Overview

PeopleTec is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development of Next Generation Missile Defense system-level requirements. This position plays a key role in defining, analyzing, and managing requirements spanning the entire system life cycle.

What You Will Do

Lead system-level requirements definition and traceability, apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, model and document system components, behaviors, and interfaces, capture and analyze functional and performance requirements.

Must have a strong understanding of MDA system architectures, lifecycle processes, and verification/validation, and be able to translate high-level mission objectives into detailed technical requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or MBSE
• Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems
• Expertise with MBSE principles, SysML, and CAMEO Systems Modeler
• Strong understanding of MDA system architectures, lifecycle processes, and verification/validation
• Ability to translate high-level mission objectives into detailed technical requirements
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance
