Software Engineer

Role Overview

PeopleTec is seeking a software engineer to join a dynamic team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems HWIL frameworks. The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies.

What You Will Do

Writing programs using C++, Java, or similar languages, creating and running unit tests, developing software documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders and Government customers.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have experience with C++, GitLab/Git, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and network connections. An active DoD Secret clearance is required, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during employment.

Requirements

• Proficient in C++
• Experience with GitLab/Git for software configuration management
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
• Experience programming network connections, e.g., message generation, formatting, UDP, and TCP/IP interfaces
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required
