Cloud Software Engineer

Role Overview

Designs, develops, and implements secure cloud-based solutions that support scalable, resilient, and mission-critical environments. Collaborates closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and develop specifications for new cloud-based products, services, applications, and enterprise solutions.

What You Will Do

Performs operations and maintenance of secure managed cloud platforms, ensuring system availability, performance, and compliance with security requirements. Implements automation to improve operational efficiency, including monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation of system events.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Possession of a Cloud certification is required and will be verified as part of the interview or offer process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development
• 4+ years of experience with a Master’s degree
• 6+ years developing in high-level languages such as Java, C, or C++
• 5+ years of experience developing software in UNIX/Linux (Red Hat 3–5) environments
• 3+ years of experience in software integration and testing
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Developer – Associate, or AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional certification
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph
