DevSecOps Engineer (Journeyman)

Role Overview

Peraton is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer (Journeyman) to support the MODES III program. The selected candidate will implement, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment tooling to support the program application and platform delivery in AWS GovCloud.

What You Will Do

Implement, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment tooling. Build and operate CI/CD pipelines, integrate automated unit/integration tests, static/dynamic security scans, and artifact promotion gates. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and automated environment provisioning.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires an active Secret clearance, experience with DevSecOps practices, and familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Docker.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance
• 5 years relevant experience with BS/BA degree or 3 years with MS/MA or 1 year with Phd or 9 years w/o a degree or 7 years with AS/AA
• Certifications: Foundational Qualification standards via an approved industry certification (e.g., A+ or Network+) or documented equivalent military/educational training as defined in the DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix

Benefits

• Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000
• Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus
