
Job description
Analyze and administer the Army-Wide Network Enterprise, providing services to over a million users worldwide. Interface with Remote Network Enterprise Centers and Defense Information Systems Agencies. Install, configure, and maintain network protocols on Cisco and Juniper devices.
Identify and resolve network connectivity and performance issues. Determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems. Monitor network performance and provide advance troubleshooting to identify and solve network problems.
Must be familiar with protocols such as ACL, BGP, IPv6, NTP, SNMP, Spanning Tree, VPN, VRF. Must maintain professionalism during high stress situations and protect networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
