Network Engineer (Deployment Technician) TS/SCI w Poly

Role Overview

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer (Deployment Technician) to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms.

What You Will Do

Conduct site surveys, optimize network topologies, prepare site installation and test reports, and have knowledge of networking equipment and boxes.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Active DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (i.e. Security+) or higher is required, and experience with site surveys and network topologies is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Associate's degree with 7 years of experience or a high school diploma with 9 years of experience
• Active DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (i.e. Security+) or higher
• Knowledge of networking equipment and boxes
• Ability to conduct site surveys and optimize network topologies
• Experience preparing site installation and test reports
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph
