Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Network Engineer, SME to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. The role will provide enterprise technical authority for network architecture, engineering standards, and infrastructure modernization across ARNG G6 environments.
Provide technical authority for network architecture, engineering standards, and infrastructure modernization. Establish routing, switching, firewall, VPN, load-balancing, and secure transport design frameworks. Review and adjudicate complex WAN and LAN engineering designs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture/engineering, with at least 7 years of experience in senior or SME network roles supporting enterprise or DoD environments. The candidate will also have expertise in routing/switching, WAN/LAN design, SD-WAN concepts, VPN and secure transport architectures, load balancing, and multi-domain integrations.
