Senior Cyber Incident Handling Analyst / Active TS/SCI

Role Overview

Peraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Handling Analyst to manage the full cyber incident lifecycle, coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders, and produce comprehensive incident reports. The role requires experience in cyber incident handling and security operations, as well as certifications in cybersecurity and incident response.

What You Will Do

Manage the full cyber incident lifecycle, coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders, produce comprehensive incident reports, maintain accurate incident tracking records, conduct post-incident reviews, and develop incident response playbooks.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience in IDS/SIEM monitoring, event triage, and multi-source data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NIST SP 800-61 and Army incident response procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM/Business Admin) and a minimum of 5 years of cyber incident handling and security operations experience
• Must meet TESA Qualification
• DoW 8140 - Cybersecurity (Cyber Defense Incident Responder) - Intermediate
• Active DoW TS/SCI security clearance
• U.S. citizenship

Benefits

• Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000
• Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus
