Activity Therapist

Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri - Saint Robert is seeking an Activity Therapist to join their team in Saint Robert, MO. The Activity Therapist will lead and participate in recreational activities to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for individuals and groups. The role requires experience in a mental health setting, preferably with adolescents, and knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development.

Requirements

• Valid Missouri Driver's License
• Minimum of 21 years old
• Experience in a mental health setting (preferably with adolescents)
• Knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development
• Ability to relate to adolescents with substance abuse or mental health problems
• Knowledge of community resources and recreation principles and practice
• Experience in coordinating, supervising, and participating in therapeutic group activities
