Veterinarian - High Volume Spay and Neuter Clinic

The Veterinarian - High Volume Spay and Neuter Clinic position at PETA is responsible for providing high-quality, high-volume spay-and-neuter surgeries and other routine services through the mobile clinic.

Requirements

• Degree in veterinary medicine from an accredited university of veterinary medicine
• Current Virginia veterinary license
• Three years' experience practicing veterinary medicine
• Experience in animal shelter medicine, supervision, and program responsibility
• Experience with high-volume spay-and-neuter surgeries
• Possession of or ability to obtain a DEA controlled-substance registration
• Proven effective organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to travel to various clinic stops throughout Hampton Roads
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver's license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record
