Peterson Health is an independent, not-for-profit rural community hospital located in Kerrville, TX- heart of the Texas Hill Country. We offer PRN opportunities across a variety of specialty clinics.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy and familiarity with operations of basic office equipment
- Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with Athena, Meditech, and/or other electronic health records software, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant certification; current BLS (preferred)
- 1 year experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting (preferred)
