Job Description
This Java Lead position at Oracle will focus on refactoring a legacy Spring MVC application to a modern Spring Boot 3.3 architecture, focusing on compatibility with JDK 17 and best practices. The role will include architectural guidance, performance tuning, and collaboration with the OpenShift Container Platform, alongside leading the migration to a containerized environment and leading the cloud-native integration.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Java development
- 3-5 years in an architectural or lead developer role
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Java-based application development
- Deep expertise in WebSphere Application Server and caching (WebSphere Extreme Scale)
- Practical experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native development
- Hands-on experience with Redis and microservices architecture
