Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CNA)

The Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to assist physicians with patient care, clerical tasks, environmental maintenance, and patient education. This role involves scheduling appointments, managing patient charts, and ensuring a positive clinic image. Responsibilities include performing screenings, injections, and phlebotomy.

Requirements

• High school diploma, some college preferred
• Completed accredited MOA program, including externship
• Minimum of one-year work experience in public contact job
• Experience in health care or a practice setting
• Maintain Certified Medical Assistant status
• Maintain CPR certification
• Knowledge of health care field and medical specialty
• Knowledge of specific assisting tasks related to particular medical specialty
• Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and families
• Skill in performing tasks appropriately
• Skill in tact and diplomacy
• Skill in understanding patient education needs
• Ability to learn and retain information
• Ability to project a pleasant and professional image
• Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks
• Ability to demonstrate compassion
• Ability to use appropriate body mechanics
