Job Description
Pinterest is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to develop and execute visions for the evolution of the Pinterest marketplace. This role involves designing and implementing systems to improve the ads delivery funnel, experimentation to shape the utility function, and analysis of marketplace dynamics. It's a unique position with the freedom to collaborate with both pinners and partners, bringing together the platforms and their aspirations.
Requirements
- MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
- 8+ years of industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading projects/teams.
- Strong software engineering and mathematical skills with knowledge of statistical methods.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale online e-commerce systems is a plus.
- Background in computational advertising is preferred.
- In-Office requirement: Office access for collaboration (1-2x/month) in either San Francisco, Palo Alto, Seattle.
