
Job description
The Engineering Change Specialist manages the lifecycle of product modifications, including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Orders (ECOs) or Requests (ECRs), from initiation to implementation. They bridge engineering, production, supply chain, and quality departments to ensure seamless design updates, minimize inventory obsolescence, and maintain accurate Bill of Materials in ERP/PLM systems.
Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering changes, including submission, review, approval, and implementation. Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Launch Team, Human Resources, Quality teams, as well as other plants and suppliers if needed, to assess impact on production and inventory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by a high level of organization and the ability to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams. A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain, specifically within change management.
