Design Engineer

Role Overview

Join the R&D team as a Design Engineer to design and develop product ranges, machine, components, and mould design projects from concept to re-engineering. This role requires innovation, drive, and a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

Project manage new product development, develop product designs, rotational mould tool designs, and implement design for manufacture and assembly techniques. Conduct technical reviews, prepare product specification sheets, and document designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree (L8) in relevant discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3 years' experience
• Results driven and able to deliver with proven track record
• Knowledge on quality management systems, ISO 9001:2015 and CE Marking EN1090
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
• Commercially aware
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various teams
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Competent working knowledge and experience of 3D CAD and PTC Creo
• Excellent technical report writing skills
• Ability to work productively, with initiative and drive under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing requirements
• Effectively handle multiple priorities in parallel
