Electronic Design Engineer

Role Overview

Join our client's Electronics and Software Team as an Electronic Design Engineer. Design, develop, and support electronic hardware solutions across our product range. This is an exciting role within a high growth industry.

What You Will Do

Design and develop digital electronic circuits and embedded hardware systems. Support designs operating on low-voltage and Mains 230V systems. Collaborate with software, mechanical, and production teams to integrate electronic hardware into complete systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• 3–7 years' experience in electronic hardware design and development
• Experience in embedded systems, ideally in industrial, automotive, or similar regulated environments
• Good working knowledge of Microcontrollers and embedded architectures, communication protocols, power electronics fundamentals, measurement, and protection circuits
• Hands-on experience with hardware testing and debugging
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI requirements and compliance processes
• Experience with ECAD tools and understanding of PCB layout principles
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team
