Job Description
Clinician/Advance Practice NP, PA, CNM at Planned Parenthood California Central Coast, providing quality reproductive health care to patients, including abortion, birth control, cancer screenings, and more.
Requirements
- Experience in family planning preferred
- Ability to relate to patients of all genders with diverse backgrounds in a professional and competent manner
- Ability to demonstrate empathy to patients accessing sensitive health care services
- RN license valid in California (Physician Assistant exempt)
- Nurse Practitioner or Clinician training and subsequent experience in reproductive health care
- Completion of approved Family Planning Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Care Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwifery or Physician Assistant program
- Current California license as Advanced Nurse Practitioner; Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant
- Certification for advanced practice through a nationally recognized organization
- Current California Furnishing Number, DEA number optional
- Current CPR (BLS) licensure
- English/Spanish bilingual skills desirable
