Major Gifts Officer

The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for advancing Planned Parenthood’s mission by cultivating and securing major philanthropic support throughout Riverside County. This role manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, focusing on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts of $10,000 or more, including planned gifts and contributions to the Action Fund (501(c)(4)/PAC).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, with demonstrated track record of securing gifts of $10,000 or more
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling proposals and communicate impact
• Proven ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize, set, and accomplish goals, and handle multiple fundraising activities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience working with donors, community partners, and volunteers of all backgrounds
• Willingness to travel throughout San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties as needed
