MTS - Backend Engineer

Platform9 is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team working on their cloud-native product suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and experience with cloud-native technologies. Roles and responsibilities include contributing to the development of cloud-native products and services, learning and collaborating with the team to design and implement the product roadmap, and supporting Cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent programming skills in a major programming language (Python or Golang preferred)
• 2-3 years of experience in a software development role
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes
• Prior experience with OpenStack/DevStack
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
