Quality Inspector I

Role Overview

Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Visually inspects Sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools and using lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection.

What You Will Do

Participate in Root cause activities, enter standardized information into GSF, supervise work area according with 5 ́s standards, and keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when needed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires a minimum of Middle school certificate, six months of related experience in manufacturing process, and intermediate electronic manufacturing experience. Must complete training for and become certified for Quality Assurance within six months of obtaining the position.

• A minimum of Middle school certificate
• Six months of related experience in manufacturing process
• Intermediate electronic manufacturing experience
• Advanced reading, writing and math skills
• Inspection skills
• Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information
• Basic PC skills
