Adjunct Pool - Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling (2025-26)

PLNU is seeking candidates to teach graduate-level courses in the Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling program. The program offers courses throughout the year, and classes are in-person/on-ground, face-to-face, in the evenings. Candidates should have a Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. preferred, or an MA/MS with evidence of specialized experience and licensure. A commitment to teaching excellence and a minimum of one year of teaching experience in higher education are also required.

Requirements

• Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. preferred; MA/MS accepted with evidence of specialized experience and licensure
• Licensed as either an LMFT or LPCC
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience in higher education
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques
• Ability to interact with students and other educators in a professional manner
• A thorough commitment to the religious and educational goals of the university
• Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement
• Ability to learn the Canvas / Workday online system
