
Job description
The Project Engineer tracks and maintains records associated with costs, deliveries, and payroll at the job site. They are responsible for tracking and maintaining all safety communications, manuals, and records. The role requires a B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
The Project Engineer will perform daily Quantity Review with the Superintendent and Job Foreman, enter daily quantities into the system, and file daily sheets. They will also track completion of work on project plans, perform monthly review of estimates, and maintain a file for tracking all extra work.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to meet deadlines, and have above-average interpersonal skills. They will also be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and accurately process written documents.
