Requirements

• Design standard jobs with guidance to match client specifications and requirements
• Draft electrical construction drawings using AutoCAD
• Work with clients to design custom Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear & Control Solutions
• Gain design knowledge to engineer 480V through 5kv Motor Control, and 480V through 38kV Switchgear
• Create and validate Bills of Materials for client submittal and approval
• Complete self-design reviews to verify accuracy and completeness of designs
• Provide technical support in client meetings
• Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to specify & approve component parts and assemblies
• Assist fellow production engineers in solving problems on a daily basis
• Adhere to Powell's policies and procedures, work instructions, ISO policies, Safety Rules and Regulations
