We are seeking a Generator Shop Diesel Technician to join our United States Generator Rental team. The position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining portable generators.
Requirements
- Trouble shoot and makes repairs to generator fleet
- Working with operations manager and generator fleet manager to prioritize repairs
- Ordering of parts for repairs
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be able to assist field operations when needed.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle.
- On call rotation once approved to work in field
- Must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines
- Generator experience a plus.
- Is able to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of both Isuzu, Cat, Cummins, Doosan, MQ, MMD, Volvo, and John Deere engines and generators a plus.
- Able to use computer and related software to trouble shoot engine and generator controls
- Must have mechanical background.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
