Principal DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

This is a highly impactful role where you will lead the design, automation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for PowerPlan’s SaaS products. You’ll own critical initiatives that improve deployment speed, reliability, and security across Azure and multi-cloud environments.

Optimize CI/CD pipelines, standardize IaC deployment, contribute to end-to-end monitoring and alerting framework, and deploy secure, scalable containerized applications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of CloudOps/DevOps experience supporting PaaS/SaaS environments
• Expertise in Azure services (AKS, Key Vault, App Services, Storage Accounts) and Terraform for IaC
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and container security best practices
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation
• Knowledge of identity federation (SAML/OIDC), Active Directory/Entra ID, and zero-trust security principles
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Coralogix) and log aggregation strategies
• Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in Azure and multi-cloud environments
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in Agile/Scrum settings
