IT Business Analyst

Role Overview

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be a member of the Frontline IT organization supporting PPG's Traffic Solutions team. You will interact daily with our users globally, address business issues through the appropriate application of new or existing technology and address & resolve user issues. This position is located in our office in Greensboro, North Carolina headquarters - we offer a hybrid work model.

What You Will Do

Ability to rapidly assimilate assigned business area's products and processes, gather requirements, functional design, testing and working with business processes, support user requests independently with standard tools if available, and lead and deliver small projects independently.

Requirements

• A four year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of IT or a related discipline experience
• Prior experience supporting and/or implementing SAP for a manufacturing organization is required
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing systems and integrations is preferred
• Strong Analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
• Must have a strong systems and process orientation
• Track record of participation on IT project teams
• Must be comfortable working remotely using primarily virtual means of collaborating with colleagues and managers
• Highly motivated with a commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic fast paced environment
• Possess the ability and desire to foster the development of junior team members
• Technical skills to support minor user requests such as ad-hoc reports, data extraction, etc.
