Role Overview

Praescient Analytics is seeking a talented and driven Full Stack Java Developer with React experience to support a critical national security mission with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The role involves providing direct development and engineering support for the National Industrial Security System (NISS) in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.

What You Will Do

Design, build, test, and deploy robust, scalable web applications using Java for backend services and React for dynamic, intuitive frontend interfaces. Collaborate on the continuous modernization and maintenance of NISS, ensuring the platform remains highly secure, responsive, and available for federal and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Secret clearance is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher) and enterprise frameworks (such as Spring Boot or Hibernate).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building user interfaces with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Practical experience working within, deploying to, or managing applications inside an Amazon Web Services (AWS) framework.
